Project Architect
Torin Thurston, AIA earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Oklahoma with high honors and the AIA Student Gold Medal and a Masters of Architecture in Urban Design from Rice University. He began his professional career in Austin, Texas and was originally licensed in the State of Texas. The majority of his ten years in Austin were professionally spent in the design and construction administration of numerous moderate to large scale health care projects. Mr. Thurston began his educational project architect experience while in Champaign-Urbana, IL for the next five years and was an Assistant Professor of Design within the University of Illinois School of Architecture. For the past thirteen years while living in New Haven, Connecticut, Mr. Thurston has continued his professional practice as project architect on a number of educational and institutional projects.
