R. DAVID THOMPSON     

Principal

 

The firm is lead by David Thompson, AIA, a 1985 graduate of the Yale School of Architecture and recipient of the AIA Henry Adams School Medal.  Mr. Thompson, a former fourteen year Associate with Roth and Moore Architects, has served as editor of Perspecta 24, the Yale Architecture Journal, and has taught or lectured at Yale, Rhode Island School of Design, the College of the Holy Cross, Hampshire College, the University of Tennessee, and the California School of the Arts.  Mr. Thompson previously served as Project Architect at Roth and Moore for major works at Vassar College, Connecticut College, Choate Rosemary Hall, and Drew University, as well as at public schools in New Haven and Branford, Connecticut.  He serves as an Officer on the Board of the Cold Spring School and the New Haven-based Institute for Educational Innovation.  Mr. Thompson’s work has been recognized with a National Merit Award from the American Institute of Architects, and five Design Awards from the Connecticut Chapter of the AIA.
